Chronic Pruritus (CP) Clinic

Chronic pruritus (CP) is itch that lasts for ≥6 weeks. CP can occur in association with a dermatologic condition (e.g eczema) or can occur with no skin rash. The evaluation of patients with chronic itch requires a thorough review of symptoms, medical history and medication drug history. Patients with no identificable cause may be diagnosed with chronic pruritus of unknown origin (CPUO).

The UF Health Itch Clinic occurs once a month and sees patients of all ages. We strive to ensure patients receive appropriate treatment to alleviate the suffering that patients endure from this debilitating condition.
