Eric R Bray, MD, PhD

Dr. Eric Bray, MD, PhD, serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the University of Florida Health System, specializing in Mohs micrographic surgery and general dermatology, with a clinical focus on transplant-related skin cancers.

A native of Kane, Pennsylvania, Dr. Bray earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh before completing the Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP) at the University of Miami, where he received his Doctor of Medicine and a PhD in Neuroscience. He completed his transitional year internship at University of Miami—Holy Cross Hospital, followed by a postdoctoral dermatology research fellowship, dermatology residency, and a fellowship in Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology (MSDO) at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Bray is board-certified in dermatology and fellowship-trained in Mohs surgery.

Dr. Bray’s clinical practice and research concentrate on the diagnosis, management, and surveillance of cutaneous malignancies, particularly squamous cell carcinoma and basal cell carcinoma. His recent research investigates the underlying mechanisms of rapid tumor progression in squamous proliferations. Dr. Bray has published extensively on topics including immune-related cutaneous toxicities and advanced therapeutics for chronic wound care, and has presented his work at national conferences.
