About Dan R Lopez

Dr. Lopez obtained the triple board certification in dermatopathology, anatomic pathology, and clinical pathology. His latest academic appointment was the in-vivo microscopy fellow at the Massachusetts General Hospital | Harvard Medical School. He received his medical degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, where he also completed a dermatology residency.

His extensive training includes an international fellowship in dermatopathology at the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, and an international board certification by the International Committee for Dermatopathology. He completed a pathology residency, as well as a dermatopathology fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina. He is particularly interested in emerging imaging technologies in dermatology, as well as novel educational strategies.
